Ferrari SF16-H Display Model
This 1:1 scale model depicts the #5 Ferrari SF16-H piloted by Sebastian Vettel during the 2016 Formula 1 season. The replica is said to have been assembled in Europe and uses fiberglass and carbon-fiber construction. It wears a red, white, and yellow livery and features fiberglass wheels, Pirelli racing slicks, front and rear wings, a fixed-back seat, and an F1-style steering wheel.
The SF16-H was campaigned by Scuderia Ferrari to a third-place finish in the Constructors Championship standings for the 2016 Formula 1 season. This model is decorated like the #5 car piloted by Sebastian Vettel and features multi-plane front and rear wings as well as dual side mirrors, intakes and vents, a replica rain light, and a faux onboard communications and camera module atop the central engine-air intake.
The replica OZ Racing wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires are constructed from fiberglass and retained with red and blue center-lock nuts. The simulated braking system incorporates cooling ducts, rotors, and red-painted calipers, while the replica suspension is comprised of carbon-fiber double-wishbones with push- and pull-rods. The model measures approximately 17.8′ long, 6′ wide, and 4′ high, and weighs 650 pounds.
The cockpit houses a black fixed-back seat with white contrast stitching along with a red Sabelt multi-point harness. The F1-style steering wheel is mounted on a quick-release hub and features carbon-fiber accents, shifter paddles, and a simulated digital screen and switchgear. A replica FIA inspection decal is affixed to the right side of the cockpit.
The model is not equipped with running gear or a drivetrain.
