Procharged 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible 6-Speed

This 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible was modified in 2022 with work that involved the installation of a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 equipped with a Procharger supercharger, a FAST LSXR intake manifold, and a Texas Speed camshaft and fuel injectors. The T-56 six-speed manual transmission is accompanied by a short-throw shifter, a Ram clutch, an aluminum bellhousing, and a 12-bolt rear end with a Moser 3.42:1 limited-slip differential. The body has been refinished in red with a replacement black soft top, and the chassis has been modified with a BMR front K-member, UMI Performance subframe connectors and sway bars, a BMR rear torque arm and Panhard rod, and Eibach lowering springs. Inside, the front bucket seats have replacement leather upholstery, and a red roll bar has been installed along with a Kenwood stereo, Rockford Fosgate speakers, and Innovate Motorsports auxiliary gauges. 

The body was refinished in red and the power-operated black soft top was recovered in 2021, according to the seller. An SLP-style hood has been installed along with aftermarket taillights with smoked lenses.

The chassis has been modified with a BMR front K-member, UMI Performance subframe connectors and sway bars, a BMR rear torque arm and Panhard rod, Eibach lowering springs, and Bilstein shocks. Chrome-finished 19″ Rucci wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 305/30 rear General GMax RS tires, and the car is equipped with power steering as well as power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted front rotors.

The cabin features front bucket seats that have been reupholstered in Graphite leather along with a coordinated center console and door panels. A red-finished bolt-in roll bar is installed behind the front seats, and interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a short-throw shifter, power windows, and a Kenwood CD stereo connected to Rockford Fosgate speakers.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. Innovate Motorsports gauges for air-fuel ratio and fuel pressure are mounted to the left of the cluster. The six-digit odometer shows 68k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership.

The 6.0-liter Vortec V8 was rebuilt and installed in 2022, according to the seller, who notes that it features a Manley Forged rotating assembly, a Texas Speed camshaft, a FAST LSXR intake manifold and throttle body, hydraulic roller lifters, and Texas Speed injectors. A Procharger supercharger is installed along with an intercooler and an aluminum radiator, and the ignition coils have been relocated to the inner fenders.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a T-56 six-speed manual transmission with an aluminum bellhousing and a Ram 10.5″ clutch as well as a 12-bolt rear end with a Moser 3.42:1 limited-slip differential. American Racing headers feed into a MagnaFlow exhaust system with a catalytic converter.
