520ci Stroker-Powered 1964 Dodge Polara 2-Door Hardtop
This 1964 Dodge Polara is a two-door hardtop that is powered by a 520ci stroker V8 linked with a push-button TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear end with a 4.10:1 Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differential. Finished in white over two-tone blue vinyl, the car was refurbished under previous ownership before being acquired by the current owner in 2021. Equipment includes a cross-ram intake manifold, dual Edelbrock carburetors, an MSD ignition system, electric exhaust cutouts, front disc brakes, 15″ Cragar wheels, and a column-mounted Moon tachometer.
The car is finished in white, and exterior details include quad headlights, a driver-side mirror, a passenger-side front fender antenna, and a chrome grille, bumpers, window surrounds, and trim. Fratzog emblems are present on the hood, C-pillars, and trunk lid, and vintage-style racing decals are applied to the quarter windows. The seller notes that the trunk paint was touched up in 2024.
Chrome 15″ Cragar SS wheels are mounted with 205/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II front tires and 8.20-15 Radir pie-crust rear slicks. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The front suspension was rebuilt under prior ownership with a replacement idler arm, Pitman arm, control arm bushings, ball joints, radius arm bushings, and tie rods.
The cabin houses two rows of bench seats upholstered in two-tone blue vinyl along with color-coordinated door panels. Equipment includes a push-button AM radio, a heater and defroster, Dodge-branded floor mats, and an Optima RedTop battery relocated to the trunk inside a black battery box. The seller notes that the carpets were replaced.
The steering wheel features a Dodge Golden Anniversary center cap and fronts a sweeping 120-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage. A Moon Equipped tachometer is mounted to the steering column, and Stewart-Warner gauges for water temperature and oil pressure are located beneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The 520ci stroker V8 was built using a 1973 440ci block and was installed in 2008. Build details include the following:
- Ported and polished 440 Source aluminum cylinder heads

Chrome valve covers wear “RAMCHARGER 528-IV” decals. A dynamometer sheet from April 2021 indicates peak outputs of 452 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in December 2024 and is equipped with a 3,500-rpm stall converter, a transmission cooler, and a Derale deep cooling pan. The Dana 60 rear end is fitted with a 4.10:1 Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differential and 35-spline Strange Engineering axles.
