The Gérard Ducarouge-designed Lotus 97T debuted at the 1985 Brazilian Grand Prix and secured three wins, six further podiums, and eight pole positions by drivers Ayrton Senna and Elio de Angelis. This 1:1 scale replica of the #12 car was constructed using fiberglass and carbon-fiber, and it wears a gold and black Lotus Formula One Team livery with sponsor logos including Goodyear, Olympus Cameras, Elf, and John Players Special. Further details consist of front and rear wings, side mirrors, a roll hoop, a rear diffuser, a replica rain light, and side pods that house faux radiators.
