1970 Ford F-250 Highboy 4×4

This 1970 Ford F-250 Highboy 4×4 left the factory as a styleside pickup finished in Norway Green and was converted to a dually with a utility bed and wood side rails under current ownership. The cab was repainted and fitted with black leather upholstery at this time, and a modified 460ci Ford V8 was installed. Shifting is via a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, while additional equipment includes Alcoa 16″ aluminum wheels, a Dana Powr-Lok rear axle, a bed-mounted spare tire, Bully side steps, power-adjustable bucket seats, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Vintage Air climate control, and an AM/FM stereo. This dually F-250 is now offered in New Jersey by the seller on behalf of the current owner with transferable New York registration.

Originally configured as a regular cab pickup with a styleside bed, the truck was converted to a dually with a utility bed under current ownership, which included a repaint in the original Norway Green as well as fitting removable wood bed side rails. Other equipment includes wood bed slats, Bully side steps, cab clearance lights, towing mirrors, and a step rear bumper.

Alcoa 16″ polished aluminum wheels are mounted with Yokohama Gio Landar H/T-S tires measuring 235/85. The truck is equipped with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes.

The cab features green-painted metal surfaces and power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in black leather with green stitching. A center console with cupholders is mounted between the seats, and Ford-branded rubber mats line the footwells. A Tekonsha trailer brake controller is mounted beneath the dashboard, which houses an AM/FM stereo as well as controls for the Vintage Air climate control system.

The aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel is fitted to a pivoting column and frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer along with gauges for fuel level, alternator charge, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 460ci Ford V8 was installed during the refurbishment and is equipped with Ford Racing valve covers and tubular exhaust headers, which feed a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers that exits behind the rear wheels.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Tranzilla five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case from Rockland Standard Gear Inc. as well as a Dana Powr-Lok rear axle.

The truck is being offered on a transferable New York registration document
