19k-Mile 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Fixed Roof Coupe 6-Speed
This 1999 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 4,031 fixed roof coupes produced for the model year, and this example was reportedly designated for public relations use by General Motors. The car is finished in Torch Red over black leather and is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 linked with a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17″ and 18″ five-spoke wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, and cruise control.
The fixed roof coupe was only available as a separate model in 1999 and 2000, and this example is finished in Torch Red. Exterior features include pop-up headlights, a Corvette-branded front plate cover, and quad exhaust outlets. There is evidence of paintwork on the left-rear quarter panel and rear bumper cover. The car is equipped with traction control, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cabin features two bucket seats trimmed in black leather. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, and cruise control. Air conditioning system components were reported replaced under current ownership.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 19k miles, approximately 1,100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 345 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump was reportedly replaced in May 2024 and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
