42-Years-Owned 454-Powered 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 4-Speed
This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was acquired by the current owner in 1983 and has been modified with a 454ci V8, a two-tone interior, and a repaint in red. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a Positraction limited-slip differential, an Edelbrock carburetor, headers, transparent removable roof panels, side-exit exhaust, 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust II, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, a Hurst shifter, and an aftermarket stereo.
The car was refinished in red in 2011, and bodywork is said to have been performed under current ownership. Features include an aftermarket domed hood, side exit exhaust pipes, and transparent removable roof panels.
The 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels were mounted with 235/60 front and 255/60 rear Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires in December 2025. The car features power steering and a four-wheel independent suspension. The seller tells us that the suspension was overhauled recently, and that the brake booster, master cylinder, and calipers were also replaced in December 2025.
The cabin features twin bucket seats trimmed in brown leather and tan vinyl. Equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, a Hurst shifter, a Realistic equalizer, and a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The 454ci V8 was installed around 1990, per the seller. Equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor, a Mallory distributor, exhaust headers, and polished valve covers. The radiator and radiator support have also been replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential.
