McLaren Marlboro-Style Livery Chair
Formed from fiberglass in the style of Arne Jacobsen’s design. The seating surface is covered in black diamond-stitched upholstery with an embroidered McLaren logo, and the back of the chair wears a red-and-white color scheme. Elements rendered in vinyl include Marlboro logos and text as well as Shell, Powered by Honda, and Hugo Boss decals.
The back was painted white with red and black painted horizontal stripes. Decals were added, and the seller reports that a clear coat was then sprayed over the paint and decals. The chair measures approximately 39″ tall by 33″ wide by 31″ deep and weighs 49 pounds. Close-up photographs of the decals are provided in the gallery.
A black-finished four-leg base supports the chair. A lever can be used to adjust the height and allow the chair to recline. The seat bottom is approximately 17″ from the ground, and the arms rise around 25″ above the ground.
